British Visa for Chinese Students: Help from UK Embassy Visa Officers
BRITISH CONSULATE-GENERAL STUDENT ADVISORY PROGRAMME
The British Consulate-General is delighted to announce their Student advisory programme.
The UK welcomes Chinese visitors to the UK, and we want to help you get your application right first time. We have therefore introduced new advisory sessions with an Entry Clearance Officer from the British Consulate. The Entry Clearance Officer will be able to offer advice to students in the pre-application phase.
The programme will commence on Wednesday 7 June at the Visa Application Centre in Shanghai. Operating hours will be on each Wednesday morning from 9am to 12am. Assistance may only be provided on an appointment basis. Appointments may be arranged by contacting the Visa Application Centre in Shanghai at supsha@ukvac.cn or by telephoning 16838208.
It would be useful for students to bring their school/university offer letter, and supporting documents with them.
Students may choose to lodge their visa application on the same day as the appointment or at a later date.
