UK Student Visa Application
Your Question我是一个工作了5年多的在职语文教师,打算去英国读一年研究生,但是没有雅思成绩.而且本人存款不多,资金来源主要是一部分来自父母以 的收入,一部分受到男友资助,请问我在申请签证时该如何处理?
I am a Chinese teacher with 5 years experience, I want to go to the UK to study for a Masters degree, I do not have my IELTS yet and I do not have much money, most of the funding comes from my parents income and the remainder from my boyfriend, please tell me how can I explain it for the visa application?
You should take IELTS before your visa application.
For your funding, money that comes from your parents is fine and no problem for the visa. Hopefully it represents most of your study funds. However the money from your boyfriend is more of a problem - is it a lot of money?
In your application, you will fill in a student questionnaire and it is important you explain why you want to go to the UK for your Masters NOW? They key question in the visa officer's mind is why have you waited 5 years to study at postgraduate level. So you must explain that having started your career you have found that you need a Masters qualification to advance your career (and to get a higher salary) - give details of your future plans and why going to the UK is a good investment for you.
