Can houses and cars be the study fund?
The Answer
You can use them to show your family does have a lot of money but they cannot be used for your study fund. This means that if you will need 300,000 RMB for a one year course in Britain you will need to show a deposit for this amount (with a certificate of deposit) that is in a bank account waiting for you to use when you go to Britain. You should also show about 12 months history for this money. If you cannot show this history (many people can't) you should show other large bank savings that belong to your family (but will not be used for your UK study). As well as this you should include any house/car ownership certificates but these can only be used as supporting evidence.
