UK Education in China

If you want to use an agency to help with your application then you should check the How2UK.com Agents Directory. Here you can find all the agents in China who are approved by British universities. You can search for them according to city that they are in or by the universities that they represent.
You probably know that agents charge a service fee, typically this should be 2,000-4,000 RMB for help in your application and 4,000-10,000 RMB for help in your visa application. Some agents have a 'Free Service' if you apply to their universities (universities from which they can receive commission).
Alternatively the British Embassy in China has a division called the British Council (or Cultural and Education Section) which has offices in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Chongqing (see here for details)
At these offices they have a good library of books about education in Britain. In addition they also host presentations by certain universities throughout the year. This is also the place that runs the IELTS examinations in China. However, they do not offer individual help with applications.
