Bath University Interpreting & Translation
谢谢!I'm a student of the English department in Beijing Tech University. I will start year 4 and want to go to the UK for a Masters degree in Interpreting & Translation. My IELTS is 7.0 and the average score in university is 81%. I know Bath has the best such course, but I cannot find Bath in your course search. Is it possible for me to be accepted by Bath? Do other universities have good such courses. I want to apply to several.
Thank you very much for bringing this to our attention, we try very hard to have all relevant courses on to the How2UK.com database but sometimes there are omissions, so we will add the Bath MA Interpreting & Translating within 24 hours. You probably already know, but this course requires any undergraduate degree major, IELTS 7.0 and demonstrable language learning ability/motivation. It costs 9,800 GBP and you must apply by 28th February.
The application for this course includes a test and interview in which they want to see you have a strong motivation for this subject. So I cannot say if you can be accepted but I can say that your application would be very suitable because you have the basic entry requirements of IELTS 7.0 and grade above 80%. Good Luck!

The other universities that have top rating by the UK government for Linguistics departments are:
1. Oxford, 2. Cambridge, 3. Durham, 4. Essex, 5. Lancaster, 6. Manchester, 7. Newcastle, 8. Queen Mary, University of London, 9. University College London, 10. Westminster, 11. York and 12. Edinburgh.
Oxford and Cambridge will require you have very high grades (above 85%) from one of China's top 20 universities (this doesn't guarantee admission, you will still have to impress the professor). The other universities are simpler - a grade of about 80% from a good Chinese university should be ok.
