UK Interpreting Degrees

I'm applying for UK Masters and I want to know the top 5 universities in interpreting, what's the failure rate of this major, is it difficult to apply for the top 5 universities, is it possible to find a job in the UK with qualifications from these universities?

For Linguistics the best rated universities according to the UK governments research rating are:
1. Oxford, 2. Cambridge, 3. Durham, 4. Essex, 5. Lancaster, 6. Manchester, 7. Newcastle, 8. Queen Mary, University of London, 9. University College London, 10. Westminster, 11. York and 12. Edinburgh.
I can't give an exact failure rate for these institutions but I do know the average failure rate is very low (less than 5%).
Oxford and Cambridge will require you have very high grades (above 85%) from one of China's top 10 universities (this doesn't guarantee admission, you will still have to impress the professor). The other universities are simpler - a grade of about 80% from a top 200 Chinese university should be ok.
I know one Chinese student who graduated in this major was able to find work in the UK after graduation but it is not easy and you need to be lucky, so it can't be guaranteed. If you study in a Scottish University you can work in the UK for 2 years after you graduate and Interpreting is a good major to have for this. Also I should say that translators/interpreters can get very high salaries here in China as well.
