Your Question

How can I study Law in the UK so that I can be qualified to pratcice Law in the UK?

The Answer

To become a qualified Solicitor here's what you should do:

1. Study a CPE (Common Professional Examination) for one year: see www.how2uk.com/showcourse.php?C_ID=1424
2. You then need to study a Legal Practice Course (one year, tuition fees: 5-9,000 GBP)
3. Finally complete a 2 year training contract (you are paid a salary) by working in a solicitor's firm

If you want, you can study a 'Senior Status Law degree' instead of the CPE - this is a 2 year LLB but you will still need to do routes 2 & 3 afterwards.
