An intellectual powerhouse for more than 100 years, Birmingham’s prospectus challenges applicants head-on, asking: “What will you add?” Inside, it drives at the heart of what university education should be about. Oh, and it also mentions how great it is to study in Birmingham as a retail, culturaland entertainment mecca. Heavy investment in facilities is making Birmingham a dynamic place. A new television drama village, a joint venture with the BBC, has been established on the Selly Oak campus, and a £20m business school opened earlier this year. There are a host of other facilities on the 230-acre Edgbaston campus and sports provision is among the finest in Britain.

Birmingham is the second biggest city in UK, and locates in the centre of England, also, it’s a city combined with tradition and modernity. The traffic here is convenient, and is close to National Exhibition Center and Birmingham International Airport. The accommodation of Birmingham University is pretty good, and most dormitories are in the campus or close to it. Students can choose dormitory served meals or the one with kitchen for you to use. Dormitories providing independent bathrooms cost about 80-90 GBP/week, including bills. Also, Birmingham University provides counseling and pre-entrance courses for international students, so that students can make full preparation before going into university.
