Southampton is a middle size city, but much bigger than other towns, such as York and Bath. The university can supply accommodations for nearly 5,000 students. Glen Eyre and Wessex are the two main accommodation sections. Glen Eyre is close to the university and only takes 10 minutes by foot. You can take the school bus at Monte(Wessex), but it only takes 15 minutes from Monte to the university. The facility of university dormitories is not bad, and the ones with independent bathrooms costs about 90GBP/week. Students living in dormitories can get a free bus card, so that they can take school bus to city centre, portswood, airport and hospital freely. Besides, there is a Chinese supermarket in storage in Southampton, and it can offer a free bus to pick students at university every weekend.
