The Oxford MBA programme can be taken full time over a 12-month period or part time (EMBA) over 21 months.

Around 220 will be admitted to the full-time programme in 2006¨C7 and a maximum of 60 on the part-time option.

The Oxford MBA is intellectually rigorous. Students come from a wide range of educational and employment experiences, and are encouraged to probe and challenge the ideas presented. Lectures are more often discussions, as management theory is analysed in relation to the diverse cultures and experiences of the class.

The MBA programme attracts highly motivated and ambitious achievers. Their average Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT) score is one of the highest in Europe. However, Oxford MBAs are less internally competitive than at many other business schools, a trait encouraged by the many collaborative projects in the MBA that involve working, often internationally, in small multicultural groups.

Throughout 3 ten-week terms students study 10 core courses and 8 electives. Students also undertake an entrepreneurial project. During the summer students have the option of taking a strategic consulting project and/or one or two summer electives. Throughout the course there is a strong emphasis on career development and on equipping students for lifelong management learning.

MBA at Oxford University: Said Business School
Last year I was interviewed by Oxford Business school, the professor was very nice and made me feel comfortable.

Here are the questions he asked:

1. What's your current job and role?
2. What will you be doing in 10 years time?
3. Free Trade - are you for it or against it?
4. Why do you support Free trade?
5. He asked me to argue against Free trade
6. If you were a member of your government what actions would you take to protect against the negatives of Free Trade?
7. Name an interesting book?
8. He asked me a question about the book
9. What other schools have you applied to
10. Do you have any questions?

My questions - I asked about Social enterpreneurship at Oxford, and placements for Internationals students
