hey.
Is there any REAL difference when it comes to the duration of a masters course? i mean, theres a particular MSc course im considering seriously at Exeter, which offeres the same course in both 9 and 12 months. so, do both hold the same significance?

Usually it means one is a masters qualification are the other is only a postgraduate diploma, which course at Essex is it?

hey, thanks for replying.
well, the course is a proper full time MSc in marketing at EXETER not essex... its not a diploma.
if i go by what the college website claims, the 9month course is supposed to be super grilling.
but i guess im gonna hv to settle with the 12month course since there'll be visa issues if i opt for the 9 mnth one.

Yes go for the 12 months course. A 12 months masters degree is already really hard work, 9 months sounds too short to me.
