南安普敦城的规模不是特别大，但比起其他的小镇还是大很多的。学校的宿舍很充足，据说能提供5000人的住宿。而Glen Eyre和Wessex是学校的两大住宿区，Glen Eyre离学校很近，徒步十分钟之内便可到；在Wessex的Monte可以坐到校车，但如果走路的话估计也就一刻钟吧。学校宿舍条件还算不错，带独卫的估计一周90磅或更多。如果是住在学校宿舍，还可以得到一张免费的车卡，免费乘学校Uni-link校车，1、2、6、9路，通往南安市中心、portswood购物中心、机场、码头、医院等等，很是方便。另外，南安有个仓储式的中国超市，算是比较大的了，在周末会有免费班车来校园和住宿区接送学生。
